The Earth's spinning faster?!

Scientists say that the Earth now spins faster because of the 9.0 earthquake near Sumatra. Basically, the mass of the Earth is now more concentrated towards the center. The effect of this concentration is similar to an ice skater who brings her arms closer to the body as she spins.
